Thank you for thinking of Four Eye Books for your work! I love reading across genres and exploring new voices, and my reviews use the Four Lenses Framework (story, big ideas, time & place, and reflection) to give each book thoughtful attention. I especially enjoy featuring independent authors and small publishers, and I'm always drawn to stories that reflect diverse, underrepresented voices. A little about how this works: I read every submission with fit in mind first, so submitting doesn't guarantee a review, and if your book isn't selected, I'm not always able to send a personal note. Please don't read silence as a lack of interest, it usually just means the timing or fit wasn't right. And if something doesn't feel like the right match once I've started reading, I reserve the right to step away, even mid-book. That's not about doubting you or your intentions, it's just part of protecting the space I've built here. If your book is selected, there's a $50 Feature fee, requested once your review is ready to post, never before. A Four Lens review takes real time and care, close reading and an essay-length response, not a quick take, and the fee reflects that.
